Yellowleg Flattie
Yellowleg “flattie” shorebird decoy. Tack-eyes and bill splined through the back of the head. Birds of this type were the easiest to turn out in the days of hunting shorebirds. They depicted the bird they were intended for as well as a full bodied decoy. This shorebird is a good example of this period circa 1900-1920.
