Three Curlew Rig by Ira Skees
Magnificant three bird hollow carved Curlew rig by master carver Ira Skees, Accomack County Virginia. Although Ira Skees tends to only carve a limited number of decoys he maintains his position as one of the higher regarded contemporary living carvers. The erect Curlew measures approximately 18″ from tip of bill to tip of tail and the two running Curlews approximately 24″. These shorebirds are a three bird rig but I would be willing to seperate if you are interested in the individual birds.
