Early Long Island Snipe

Very early working Long Island Snipe, circa 1890-1900.  Bird measures approximately 9″ from bill to tail and has raised wing detail.  Heavily hit with shot and replaced bill.  Carrying hole in tail.  A nice example of an early working shorebird.
