Alert Yellowlegs
Alert yellowlegs from the Accord Massachusetts area, circa 1900. Carved wings with split tail and measures approximately 11″ from tip of bill to tip of tail. Carved in the style reminiscent to the work of Charles Thomas and Joseph Lincoln. Original paint with light wear and nice patina. Lightly hit by shot with a few chips to the wood resulting. A very nice bird.
